Auditing Your Law Firm SEO Company

Wondering if your law firm’s SEO company is doing the right work for you? Want to know how to analyze the work of your SEO provider?

This series of videos and blog posts will help you find the answers to these questions.

Many attorneys who hire a SEO company for their law firm find themselves wondering what it is that their SEO provider is doing for them. In the early stages this can be especially frustrating, since your rankings may not yet be good enough to drive many new prospective clients to your website. In the coming days and weeks I will be posting “how to” videos outlining and demonstrating the process of auditing or analyzing the work of your SEO provider. While most attorneys do not want to become search engine optimization specialists, it is important that you educate yourself so you can be a smart and educated customer.

Here is the first video that summarizes the series (with the transcript below).

Hello. Today we’re going to be discussing analyzing the work of you SEO provider. This is going to be a four part series presented by LawyerMarketingExpert.com. Author, Dan Stratford.

Dan Stratford is a partner and owner in C1 Partners Digital Marketing Agency, an agency based in Denver, Colorado. He’s also the author and founder of lawyermarketingexpert.com, which I put up in 2008. I’ve been advanced certified Google Adwords since 2006. I was a certified legal education instructor with the Bar Associations across the USA, including from literally Hawaii to national presentations when I was LexisNexis. I taught classes on marketing specifically.

I ran the western regional division for LexisNexis as their regional internet marketing consultant in 2008 and 2009. Before that I was Dex Media, corporate, which is one of the bigger yellow pages companies in the country and we all know what’s happened with yellow pages over the last 10 years.

I have quite a pit of experience in both working for large SEO companies, implementing hands on solutions for attorneys and other industries and teaching courses on internet marketing including search engines optimization.
